Got my Griplate today in Starry Blue, which I love. It looks great on my phone and definitely helps those of us who prefer to NOT use a phone case, but want better grip than the standard (slippery) phone finish.
I do wish it had shipped out a bit more quickly, but I understand that this is a one-man shop. Also, I think a slightly beveled edge all around would be a nice touch!
I did not receive the black griplate that I ordered and Stevil hasn't refunded me yet. Additionally, the griplate that I did receive (which was gray instead of black) is very poorly manufactured with excess and damaged glue.
Exceeded my expectations. Excellent quality and fit. Adds magsafe capabilities without adding bulk or inhibiting the usability. Plan on ordering again in the future and recommending to friends and colleagues.

Overall the gripplate is a nice idea. But the texture is way off and looks cheap/unfinished for the default option I did try to cover it with a skin but the skin takes on the same texture as the grip plate. Ramdom bumps, shiny texture. It went into the garbage
The carbon fiber one is much nicer, smooth finish. My default was removed off my phone and thrown in the trash. The carbon fiber is currently on my phone with a skin and looks great.
I'd avoid the default finish personally, its textured and not smooth.
love the grip and the magnet is strong for magsafe accessories. got white and want more colors.
Took entirely too long to ship my order. The product itself seems good and useful. I ordered the wrong product so I'm I reordered the correct product and am waiting on it.
I accidentally ordered the wrong grip plate (Fold 8 Ultra instead of Fold 8) and the company got a return shipping label sent to me within minutes and the correct one on order. Based on what I saw with the Ultra one I got, it is well made and will add Magsafe, basic protection, and a little better grip for those looking for minimalism.
This griplate for the z fold 8 is fantastic. Protects the phone from minor scratches and provides grip. Having the mag safe is awesome.

Found out on recieving the item that I had ordered it for the wrong model by accident. But the quality was so nice that I had to order a new one for the fold 8 wide right away. So will have to make a new review when the right one comes that I can put on my phone. Looking forward to it 😀

I was skeptical at first, but overall I'm happy. The magnet grips pretty strong and the plate doesn't peel off when it's attached to a charger. Love the simple design. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would buy again in the future.
Exceeded my expectations. I've always struggled with buying a back plate, and then putting an aftermarket ring adapter on the phone only to see it come off. This product totally eliminates the ring adapter and skin combination. Thanks.
I was worried by how small the packaging was coming from across the country, but I was pleasantly surprised by the ingenious 3d printed tray the griplate shipped in. Installed easy, looks great, and allows me to use the phone basically naked while getting Qi2 magnets. The normal ring magnets stickers ive tried so far struggle to stay adhered on the frosted back glass of newer Samsung phones, but this having full back coverage eliminates that problem while keeping the phone slim. LOVE it and will buy more for different looks!
